Access-Able Travel Source - This is the Access-Able Travel Source web site. It includes a database of accessible accommodations, transportation, and rentals, as well as a listing of travel agents with experience in planning vacations for people with disabilities.

Accessible Vacation Home Exchange - This site is entitled “Accessible Vacation Home Exchange” and helps people with disabilities hook up with others who live in other parts of the country or the world and might want to exchange homes for a vacation.

All Go Here - This is the All Go Here web site. It includes a directory of accessible hotels within the United Kingdom, as well as an airline directory that provides information on the major airlines’ arrangements for passengers with disabilities.

Arcess - This web site is called Arcess.com and provides downloadable computer arcade games that are accessible for various abilities and skill levels. The games can be played as simple simple switch games, speech recognition games or expanded keyboard games (such as Intellikeys and other keyboards).

Camp C.A.M.P. (Children’s Association for Maximum Potential), located in Center Point, Texas. “Camp C.A.M.P. is a series of five day summer camp sessions for children with special needs who may not be eligible toattend other camps due to the severity of their disability or medical condition.” Siblings are also able to attend.

Camp For All “is a unique camping and retreat facility that works in partnership
with special needs groups to enrich the lives of people with chronic illnesses and
disabilities. Campers of all ages and abilities gain self-esteem and independence
while having fun, learning new skills, and bonding with others.” The camp is located
between Houston and Austin in Washington County, Texas.

Dionysus Theatre - provides theater experience for teens and young adults who have disabilities or chronic illnesses as well as actors without disabilities. The troupe performs original materials highlighting issues that are important in today’s society.

Disability Travel and Recreation Resources - This is a collection of web links entitled Disability Travel and Recreation Resources that was compiled by Mr. Jim Lubin who has quadriplegia and uses a ventilator.

Disney World - This web page provides links that outline services and facilities available for guests visiting any of the four major Disney World theme parks. (The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom)

Emerging Horizons - Emerging Horizons is a quarterly publication about accessible travel that includes domestic and foreign destinations, accessible lodgings, travel tips, and accessible travel resources.

Global Access - This is the Global Access web site where people with disabilities can share their traveling experiences. It also provides travel tips and resources.

Kids Camps website offers a listing of camps available across the
country, including a listing of camps for children with disabilities. The site allows
you to look up camps by category/type as well as by geographic location.

Project ACTION Accessible Traveler’s Database - This is the Project ACTION Accessible Traveler’s Database. “This database of transit systems is supplemented with information on accessible tours and tour companies, accessible airport and other private shuttles, and accessible taxi services. The transportation database website allows the user to highlight the state and city they plan to visit, and view all transportation services available to them. The user is also able to view the travel agencies specializing in travel arrangements for persons with disabilities.”

Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality - The web site of the Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality. “SATH works vigorously for the creation of a barrier-free environment (architectural and attitudinal) throughout all segments of the travel and tourism industry.”

The River Performing and Visual Arts Center - whose mission is “to provide accessible, affordable, fine arts education for special children, ages 2-19, who have disabilities, chronic illnesses, or are economically disadvantaged. Siblings are welcome.”

“Texas Lions Camp is a residential camping facility for children with physical
disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer. The camp is located on over 500 acres in the
beautiful Texas Hill Country, and is designed to introduce the “Can Do” philosophy
to children dealing with special medical conditions.”

Wilderness Inquiry - This is the web site of Wilderness Inquiry, “a non-profit organization that focuses on getting people from all walks of life to personally experience the natural world”. They put together multi-day wilderness adventures for people of all ages, abilities, and experiences.
